ABOUT · IN ENGLISH

Kim Changhwan

Educator. Founder of Nedabahway. Jeju, South Korea.

Nedabahway is a one-person education studio based on Jeju Island, South Korea. It is run by Kim Changhwan — an educator, lecturer, and 1-on-1 coach — together with a homegrown swarm of ~60 software agents organized into 17 departments.

What we do

The studio works in four braided domains — career education, AI literacy, leadership, and facilitation — applied to the actual work context of one specific person at a time. The tagline: 한 사람의 일을 다시 디자인합니다 — We redesign one person's work.

Sixty minutes after a lecture ends, success means the learner walks out carrying one sentence: "Tomorrow at work, I will do one thing differently." Not information transfer; observation.

Core thesis

The essence of vocation is otherness. Work, at its base, is an act directed toward another person. The meaning of work is restored when it touches the unseen need of one specific person.

The AI swarm (verifiable)

Editorial principle

Every Korean essay traces to a real lecture, coaching session, or daily journal — no fabricated characters. Every published claim declares its source path or 1차 출처 (primary URL). Unverified claims are labeled UNKNOWN and preserved as such; the labels are not stripped before AI surfaces summarize them.

Forthcoming book (2026)

AI시대, 진로직업가치관 필독서 — 네 마음도 따뜻해지길!
English working title: Vocational Values for the AI Era — May Your Heart Stay Warm Too
IDEN · Nedabahway, paperback (POD). 8 chapters in 3 parts + 3 appendices including a 30-question self-diagnosis. Audience: adolescents, teachers, parents.

Two publications

관점 노트 (Perspective Notes) — Korean. 600~1,200 characters per piece, first-person, one daily anecdote, deliberate inconclusion. 100+ posts published; long-term goal is 10,000.

Still Hands — English newsletter. Long essay every other Sunday. Documents the "second half of the AI honeymoon" — the period after initial AI enthusiasm, when solo operators discover the self-referential failure modes of LLM tools and build opposing layers.
